Name
Isola Takshingel Rett, Swing and Kuttet
Technical purpose of product or process This is a product specific EPD for Isola Isola Takshingel Rett, Swing and Kutte. Isola Takshingel is an asphalt roofing coating made with a fibreglass core saturated with polymer-modified bitumen and can be used both on new-bulit buildings and for rehabilitation. An advanced adhesive system in the sprinkled surface means that adhesion is immediate. The upper part of the back is coated with plastic foil that provides an antifriction layer and prevents adhesion in the package and to the substrate. Isola Shingel is ideal for use on cold and ventilated roof constructions.

1This impact category deals mainly with the eventual impact of low dose ionizing radiation on human health of the nuclear fuel cycle. It does not consider effects due to possible nuclear accidents, occupational exposure nor due to radioactive waste disposal in underground facilities. Potential ionizing radiation from the soil, from radon and from some construction materials is also not measured by this indicator.
2The results of this environmental impact indicator shall be used with care as the uncertainties on these results are high or as there is limited experiences with the indicator.
