Name
Profim AcicsPro
Technical purpose of product or process Profim AccisPro follows your body movements. This is unique because it supports your spine, not just while you relax but also when you move. This is what we call “active seating”. When you want to reach for something, or make an involuntary movement, AccisPro adjusts to your posture. It moves in tune with your body. The model analyzed in detail in this declaration is the Profim AccisPro 150SFL, featuring a polished aluminum base, P63TPU 4D armrests, an upholstered seat (Xtreme/Camira), and a mesh backrest (Runner/Gabriel), without lumbar support, including packaging. Key environmental indicators for other models and options of the Profim AccisPro are presented in a table on page 12 of this declaration

General comment on data set Data quality: Specific data for the product composition are provided by the manufacturer. They represent the production of the declared product and were collected for EPD development in the year of study. Background data is based on registered EPDs according to EN 15804, Ostfold Research databases, ecoinvent and other LCA databases. The data quality of the raw materials in A1 is presented in the table below. Allocation: The allocation is made in accordance with the provisions of EN 15804. Incoming energy and water and waste production in-house is allocated equally among all products through mass allocation. Effects of primary production of recycled materials is allocated to the main product in which the material was used. The recycling process and transportation of the material is allocated to this analysis. Cut-off criteria: All major raw materials and all the essential energy is included. The production processes for raw materials and energy flows with very small amounts (less than 1%) are not included. These cut-off criteria do not apply for hazardous materials and substances.

Data set valid until 2030
Time representativeness description 2025-03-26 - 2030-03-26
Technological representativeness
Technology description including background system Collection features: • innovative system of independent side-to-side movement of both backrest and seat (SmartHPS) • easy adjustment of the basic functions of the mechanism ensuring synchronised tilt of the backrest and seat • adjustable armrests, lumbar support and seat extension • for safety reasons, the gaps between moving parts are no more than 5 mm and where this was not possible special covers were used • with or without headrest • lumbar support (as option) • black and light grey version (plastic elements)

1This impact category deals mainly with the eventual impact of low dose ionizing radiation on human health of the nuclear fuel cycle. It does not consider effects due to possible nuclear accidents, occupational exposure nor due to radioactive waste disposal in underground facilities. Potential ionizing radiation from the soil, from radon and from some construction materials is also not measured by this indicator.
2The results of this environmental impact indicator shall be used with care as the uncertainties on these results are high or as there is limited experiences with the indicator.
