Name
Choice Conference table Laminate
Technical purpose of product or process Choice - a minimalistic, sustainable, functional, flexible, scalable, affordable and modular table with an contemporary appeal. Regardless of the form of the meeting, working methods or number of people, there is a Choice Table that meets the needs in today’s and tomorrow’s workplaces. Choice Conference table is offered in depths ranging from 800 to 1400 mm with a surface selection including laminate, desktop, veneer, HPL and lacquer. The maximum table depths for surface materials are 1150 mm for veneer, 1200 mm for laminate and HPL, and 1400 mm for desktop. Tailor the overall length of the table top to meet your specific requirements, with options ranging from 1400 mm to 2400 mm for individual tabletops, or multiple units combined for lengths exceeding 2400 mm, allowing for limitless configurations. Table tops in lengths of 1400 to 3200 mm are supported by two stands, while table tops measuring 3210 to 4800 mm in length are supported by three stands. For lengths exceeding 4800 mm, intermediate table tops with an additional stand are available to extend the conference table to accommodate your requirements. The stands are crafted from steel and come in three distinct designs, available in white, black or silver lacquer. More information about Choice Conference table can be found here: https://www.edsbyn.com/sv/products/choice/conference-table-3/ Choice Conference table (rectangular) 2400x1100 mm. Tabletop: constructed from 22 mm laminated chipboard Surface material: laminate Edge profile: straight edge with ABS edge strips matching the surface material Support frame: powder coated steel Stands: powder coated steel Note that the stands are calculated separately as options. Examples of other shapes and sizes of the table are calculated as variants.

General comment on data set Data quality: Specific data for the product composition are provided by the manufacturer. They represent the production of the declared product and were collected for EPD development in the year of study. Background data is based on registered EPDs according to EN 15804, Ostfold Research databases, ecoinvent and other LCA databases. The data quality of the raw materials in A1 is presented in the table below. Allocation: The allocation is made in accordance with the provisions of EN 15804. Incoming energy and water and waste production in-house is allocated equally among all products through mass allocation. Effects of primary production of recycled materials is allocated to the main product in which the material was used. The recycling process and transportation of the material is allocated to this analysis. Cut-off criteria: All major raw materials and all the essential energy is included. The production processes for raw materials and energy flows with very small amounts (less than 1%) are not included. These cut-off criteria do not apply for hazardous materials and substances.

1This impact category deals mainly with the eventual impact of low dose ionizing radiation on human health of the nuclear fuel cycle. It does not consider effects due to possible nuclear accidents, occupational exposure nor due to radioactive waste disposal in underground facilities. Potential ionizing radiation from the soil, from radon and from some construction materials is also not measured by this indicator.
2The results of this environmental impact indicator shall be used with care as the uncertainties on these results are high or as there is limited experiences with the indicator.
