Technical purpose of product or process VENTILATION OF BUILDINGS, OFFICES AND PRODUCTION FACILITIES. For more information see: https://www.trox-xfans.de/en/roof-ventilation-fans/drv-ec-d69e36dccc9c5635 Flow rate max. 60°C. Vertical blowing. Direct drive by alternating current. Operating input voltage 1~200-277 VAC/ 50-60Hz or 3~400V AC/ 50-60Hz. Motor in EC external rotor design, up to 90% motor efficiency, protection class IP 54. Motor protection devices: Fault signalling relay with potential-free contact, blocking protection, phase failure detection, soft start, mains undervoltage detection, overtemperature protection of the electronics and motor, short-circuit protection, Additional motor protection switching devices are not required. Infinitely variable control via 0-10V signal. Contact protection grille. Motor arranged within the air flow. Wiring on site through the housing into the motor compartment, not required when using the repair switch. Optionally with constant volume flow or pressure control. In accordance with ErP 1253/2014: minimum efficiency level 2 (from 2018) is fulfilled This EPD includes the environmental data of the product series DRV-EC. The following represents a representative dataset of the most sold variant in the declared sales year (DRV-ECF355).

General comment on data set Data quality: Specific data for the product composition are provided by the manufacturer. The data represent the production of the declared product and were collected for EPD development in the year of study. Background data is based on EPDs according to EN 15804 and different LCA databases. The data quality of the raw materials in A1 is presented in the table below. Allocation: The allocation is made in accordance with the provisions of EN 15804. Energy, water and waste production in-house is allocated equally among all products through mass allocation. Effects of primary production of recycled materials is allocated to the main product in which the material was used. The recycling process and transportation of the material is allocated to this analysis. Cut-off criteria: All major raw materials and all the essential energy is included. The production processes for raw materials and energy flows with very small amounts (less than 1%) are not included. These cut-off criteria do not apply for hazardous materials and substances.

1This impact category deals mainly with the eventual impact of low dose ionizing radiation on human health of the nuclear fuel cycle. It does not consider effects due to possible nuclear accidents, occupational exposure nor due to radioactive waste disposal in underground facilities. Potential ionizing radiation from the soil, from radon and from some construction materials is also not measured by this indicator.
2The results of this environmental impact indicator shall be used with care as the uncertainties on these results are high or as there is limited experiences with the indicator.
