Use advice for data set The scope of this EPD is cradle to gate with options, modules C1-C4 and module D. No actions are necessary during User stage.
Technical purpose of product or process StoCryl BF 200 is a anti slip and ready-to-use floor paint used for interior application and areas exposed to weathering. It can be used as a coloured coating for concrete, cementitious screed and mastic asphalt and a coloured design of surfaces suitable for foot traffic and subject to light mechanical stress. StoCryl BF 200 is oil- and abrasion-resistant as well as weather resistant. StoCryl BF 200 has a fine-rough and matt surface, tintable in accordance with the StoColor System RAL colour fan. The main components of the product are mineral fillers, an acrylic dispersion based binder, water, pigments, solvent and small amount of additives. The application process can be done by paint brush or roller. For the use and application of the product the respective national provisions at the place of use apply, in Germany for example the building codes of the federal states and the corresponding national specifications. The following data is required by the corresponding PCR B. Further information can be found in the Safety Data Sheet on www.sto.de. 1) This product contains substances listed in the candidate list (date: 20.05.2025) exceeding 0.1 percentage by mass: no. 2) This product contains other CMR substances in categories 1A or 1B which are not on the candidate list, exceeding 0.1 percentage by mass: yes titanium dioxide, pigment, >= 1 - < 10 % CAS-nr: 13463-67-7 3) Biocide products were added to this construction product or it has been treated with biocide products (this then concerns a treated product as defined by the (EU) Ordinance on Biocide Products No. 528/2012): yes 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one, in-can preservative CAS-nr: 2634-33-5 reaction mass of: 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one[EC no.247-500-7]and 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one[EC no.220-239-6] (3:1), in-can preservative CAS-nr: 55965-84-9 The material composition of the declared mixed product is as stated below:

General comment on data set Data quality: Specific data for the product composition are provided by the manufacturer. The data represent the production of the declared product and were collected for EPD development in the year of study. Background data is based on EPDs according to EN 15804 and different LCA databases. The data quality of the raw materials in A1 is presented in the table below. Allocation: The allocation is made in accordance with the provisions of EN 15804. Incoming energy and water and waste production in-house is allocated equally among all products through mass allocation. Effects of primary production of recycled materials is allocated to the main product in which the material was used. The recycling process and transportation of the material is allocated to this analysis. Cut-off criteria: All major raw materials and all the essential energy is included. The production processes for raw materials and energy flows with very small amounts (less than 1%) are not included. These cut-off criteria do not apply for hazardous materials and substances.

1This impact category deals mainly with the eventual impact of low dose ionizing radiation on human health of the nuclear fuel cycle. It does not consider effects due to possible nuclear accidents, occupational exposure nor due to radioactive waste disposal in underground facilities. Potential ionizing radiation from the soil, from radon and from some construction materials is also not measured by this indicator.
2The results of this environmental impact indicator shall be used with care as the uncertainties on these results are high or as there is limited experiences with the indicator.
