Technical purpose of product or process This Environmental Product Declaration (EPD®) describes the environmental impacts of 1m2 of installed gypsum board Gyproc® Robust I Klima with a weight of 11,7 kg/m2. Gyproc® Robust I Klima is a plasterboard with fiberglass reinforced gypsum core with high density and a surface of strong paper liner. To be used in wet room walls, where the board's greater strength and impact resistance together with the impregnated gypsum core forms a strong and rigid substrate for waterproofing systems and surface coatings. The plasterboard has tapered long edges and short edges sawn straight. Thickness: 12,5 mm Width: 1200 mm (GRI 13 Klima) and 900 mm (GRIE 13 Klima) To calculate the result for 1 kg of Gyproc® Robust I Klima, divide the result with the weight of the plasterboard: 11,7 kg/m (conversion factor 1/11,7 = 0,085)

General comment on data set The data was collected from the specific manufacturing site Fredrikstad, using measurements, internal records and reporting documents. The manufacturing process at Fredrikstad has been fully electrified since March 2023. The production data are based on data from June 1th 2023 – May 31th 2024. Allocation criteria are based on mass. The polluter pays principle as well as the modularity principle have been followed. All raw materials and additives and all energy has been included. The following has been excluded: Flows related to human activities such as employee transport. The construction of plants, production of machines and transportation systems

1This impact category deals mainly with the eventual impact of low dose ionizing radiation on human health of the nuclear fuel cycle. It does not consider effects due to possible nuclear accidents, occupational exposure nor due to radioactive waste disposal in underground facilities. Potential ionizing radiation from the soil, from radon and from some construction materials is also not measured by this indicator.
2The results of this environmental impact indicator shall be used with care as the uncertainties on these results are high or as there is limited experiences with the indicator.
