Point soffa 3-sits
Use advice for data set Final assembly is done at Materia AB i Tranås. Upholstery, steel components and fixtures are purchased as premanufactured components.
Technical purpose of product or process Point displays a shape that is strong and full of character with many combination options. The furniture can be reduced or expanded. It also changes character depending on the armrests that are selected. Built-in power socket available as optional extra. Point is also available as a bench system with the characteristic bench armrest. The bench is deep enough to sit on both sides and works very well on its own or as a long dynamic shape that winds its way through a room. Seat, back of solid wood, plywood and MDF. Padding of shaped cold-cured PUR. Frame of die-cast aluminium in chrome alt. black or silver grey powder coating alt, power outlets under seat(European Schucko) .

General comment on data set Data quality: Specific data for the product composition are provided by the manufacturer. They represent the production of the declared product and were collected for EPD development in the year of study. Background data is based on registered EPDs according to EN 15804, Ostfold Research databases, ecoinvent and other LCA databases. The data quality of the raw materials in A1 is presented in the table below. Specific data for the manufacturing processes (product stage A3) refers to the year 2025. All other specific data is from years of study. Allocation: The allocation is made in accordance with the provisions of EN 15804. Incoming energy and water and waste production in-house is allocated equally among all products through mass allocation. Effects of primary production of recycled materials is allocated to the main product in which the material was used. The recycling process and transportation of the material is allocated to this analysis. Cut-off criteria: All major raw materials and all the essential energy is included. The production processes for raw materials and energy flows with very small amounts (less than 1%) are not included. These cut-off criteria do not apply for hazardous materials and substances.

1This impact category deals mainly with the eventual impact of low dose ionizing radiation on human health of the nuclear fuel cycle. It does not consider effects due to possible nuclear accidents, occupational exposure nor due to radioactive waste disposal in underground facilities. Potential ionizing radiation from the soil, from radon and from some construction materials is also not measured by this indicator.
2The results of this environmental impact indicator shall be used with care as the uncertainties on these results are high or as there is limited experiences with the indicator.
